This section contains the detailed features extracted from the requirements document for the REC Verifiable Credentialing Platform. These features are organized by epic and represent the specific functionalities that will be implemented.

Overview

Features are specific, well-defined functionalities that deliver value to users. They are more granular than epics and provide clear implementation guidance for development teams. Each feature includes a description, user story, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and priority.

Feature Organization

Features are organized by epic to maintain clear traceability between high-level business objectives and specific implementation details:

  1. Credential Issuance Features - Features for creating and issuing past employment credentials
  2. Credential Disclosure Features - Features for requesting and receiving credential disclosures
  3. Credential Verification Features - Features for verifying the authenticity of disclosed credentials
  4. Organization Onboarding Features - Features for onboarding and managing staffing companies
  5. User Management Features - Features for managing users and securing access
  6. Reporting & Analytics Features - Features for monitoring and analyzing platform usage
  7. Security & Compliance Features - Features for ensuring security and regulatory compliance
  8. Platform Infrastructure Features - Features for hosting and scaling the platform
  9. Integration & Interoperability Features - Features for connecting with external systems
  10. Future Expansion Features - Features for supporting future capabilities

Feature Format

Each feature is documented using the following format:

Implementation Phases

Features are prioritized and will be implemented in phases aligned with the epic implementation plan:

  1. First Drop (Beta Testing) - Features related to organization onboarding, user management, credential issuance, and initial security, infrastructure, and integration capabilities.

  2. Second Drop (Beta Testing) - Features related to credential disclosure, credential verification, reporting & analytics, and complete security, infrastructure, and integration capabilities.

  3. Future Releases - Features related to future platform expansion and enhancements based on beta feedback.
